Lady Cyclones top Hilltoppers 43-18

The T.A. Dugger Junior Lady Cyclones eighth grade
unit kept stuck to their winning ways Monday afternoon against
Science Hill.
With a strong offensive performance from Kelly
Culler (9 points), Janie Robinson (9 points) and Leah Henson
(7 points), T.A. Dugger topped the Junior Lady Toppers with
a 43-18 victory.
Kyla Jones and Mara Laporte added five points apiece
for the Lady Cyclones.
In other action, both T.A. Dugger boys squads and
the girl's JV unit were defeated by Science Hill and Indian
Trail.
The Junior Cyclone eighth grade boys squad held
their own late against the Junior Toppers, but a 37-14 halftime
lead was too much to handle as they lost 57-43.
Bo Carter led the unit with 15 points, while Wes
Anderson contributed 10.
Indian Trail dominated the seventh grade boys game
with a 74-32 victory over T.A. Dugger.
Four Junior Cyclones tipped in six points apiece
while Odem and Adams led their squad with 13 and 10 points respectively.
Pietrowski paced T.A. Dugger's JV girls unit with
10 points, but Indian Trail used a 15-4 run in the second quarter
to help put away the visitors with a 45-18 win.
Good scored 10 points for Indian Trail, including
3 treys, while Bunting added 10.
