T.A. Dugger prevails in Big 10 Relay

   BRISTOL -- The Big 10 Relay Carnival, held Friday and Saturday at Tennessee High, brought forth big results for the T.A. Dugger swimming team, which captured first-place honors in the junior varsity division.
   The Jr. Cyclones, with 242 points, outpaced runner-up Virginia Middle, 222, and E.B. Stanley Middle, 128.
   TAD's victory was highlighted by a first-place finish (2:44.35) in the girls 200-yard medley relay.
   The Jr. Cyclone girls, who won their division with a 218-point effort, added runner-up showings in the 100-yard fly relay (1:21.05), 100-yard back relay (1:20.33), 100-yard free relay (1:04.70) and 200-yard breast relay (3:22.21).
   Elizabethton was sixth (268) in the overall results of the high school division, which Knox Bearden won with 1,263 points.
   The Cyclones were fifth in the boys division, scoring 154 points.
