EHS takes on 'Toppers at Arby's

from staff reports

It wasn't the way the Cyclones had hoped it would be, but they will get a chance to play former conference rival Science Hill. It will be in the losers bracket however as both the Hilltoppers and Cyclones lost in the second round.
Wheeler had a slim 29-24 advantage at the break, but the Marietta, Ga. squad staged a second-half rally that saw the Wildcats reel off a 19-2 run to open a 48-26 lead and were never threatened from there.
Cyclone post Vince Redd had just seven points, but turned away eight Wildcat shots. The loss was the first of the season for the Cyclones as they look forward to what could be another unbeaten Watauga Conference mark.
