Anytime the Elizabethton Cyclones and Dobyns-Bennett
Indians get together, it doesn't matter what level of ball
is being played because every game will be competitive.
Such was the case in junior varsity competition

the Lady Indians 51-26 while the boys from Kingsport returned
the favor in the second game of the day, beating the Cyclones
80-57.
Valneesha Redd had 22 points, five rebounds,
and eight steals to lead the Lady Cyclones, while Sarah Smith
added eight points. Kayla Morelock led the Indians with eight
followed by Myee McKinney with seven.
Lamon Williams led three players in double digits
with 12 points to lead the boys from Dobyns-Bennett. Twelve
players scored for D-B.
Brad Holtsclaw pumped in 17 points and Phillip
Garland chipped in 12 to lead the Cyclones. For complete box
