downs Lady Rangers

Despite 25 points from Mandy Roberson, Unaka (1-8)
fell to Unicoi County (8-1) by the score of 63-51 Tuesday night
at Snavely Gymnasium.
Roberson did an outstanding job on the defensive
end as well holding Unicoi's star player Kim Anders to nine
points. Candace Shelton and Deanna Rice picked up the slack
each scoring 14 points for the Lady Devils, while Amber Bailey
contributed with 12.
Unaka also got good offensive performances from
Kelly Taylor, who scored eight, and Coty Townsend with 7.
