Jr. 'Clones finish third in tourney

  The T.A. Dugger boys basketball team captured third place in the Blountville Invitational Tournament with a convincing 35-15 victory over Sullivan Middle School Saturday.
  Jared Lyons led the Cyclones with nine points and seven rebounds, and was aided in the winning cause by Vic Deloach with five points and seven boards, and Jake Davis, who had six points.
  TAD led 10-2 after the first quarter, and 17-6 at the intermission. The Cyclones outscored the Pirates 18-9 in the second half for the final 20-point margin of victory.
  The win, coupled with a Friday loss to Science Hill Middle School, puts TAD's record to 2-1 for the young season. Coach James Jacob's Jr. Cyclones' return to action with a home date Monday at 6 p.m. at the Dugger gym versus Vance.
