Lady Jr. 'Clones subdue Sevier

   Both T.A. Dugger girls' basketball squads outplayed John Sevier Middle School Monday evening. The JV team slipped past the Lady Jr. Warriors with a 21-20 win, and the 8th-grade Lady Cyclones dropped Sevier 38-10.
   The varsity game was a breeze from the start for the Lady Cyclones. Kelli Culler burned through the net with 11 points for TAD. Hannah Fritz put up eight points for the team, while Jasmine Treadway and Janey Robinson scored seven points each.
   TAD took an early lead, finishing the first quarter 11-2, and kept the ball rolling by scoring 10 points in the second and third quarters, and seven in the fourth.
   The 7th grade Lady Warriors stayed close behind TAD, going into the half trailing by only two points at 16-14. Strong shooting from Mariah Pietrowski, with seven points, boosted TAD to the win. Madisson Barnett and Arin Anderson followed with three points each.
