Bowman, Lease spark Buffs at national meet

   LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Milligan cross country teams finished their season in a strong fashion by posting national rankings in the NAIA National Championship.
   The Buffs finished 21st in the country while the Lady Buffs came in 22nd at the meet.
   Leading the way for the men's team was freshman Sean Bowman with a 40-place finish and the fourth-highest finish among freshmen with a time of 25:59. Finishing 46th was sophomore Chris Wright with a time of 26:04.
   Other strong finishers for Milligan were Trevor Donovan, Jair Collie and Ted Dubois.
   For the Lady Buffs, sophomore Megan Lease earned All-American honors with her 30th-place finish with a personal best time of 18:33. Other finishers for Milligan were Marta Zimon in 54th place and junior Lauren Gross with a personal best time of 19:15.
   The Lady Buffs were able to place three runners in the top 75 nationally.
