Lady Buffs shut out SWU, 3-0

  CENTRAL, S.C. -- The Milligan College Lady Buffs soccer team went on the road and shut out Southern Wesleyan (S.C.) University by a 3-0 tally in an non-conference match up. With the win, Milligan improves to 8-6-1 on the season.
  Milligan held a 2-0 halftime lead with the first half goals coming from freshman Stephanie Junkin with an assist from Katie Lindemann with the other goal from freshman Bryndis Bjarnadottir off an assist from Kristin Zutt.
  The goal for Milligan in the second half came from Jenna Zutt with an assist from Dagmar Arnardottir.
  Milligan out shot Southern Wesleyan 25-1 in the contest.
  Next for the Lady Buffs will be an important match up as nationally ranked No. 10 Houghton (N.Y.) College visits Anglin Field on Saturday for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
