Jr. 'Horns 10-0 after decisive conquest

  Fitting the final piece of an undefeated regular-season puzzle, Johnson County, getting a pair of touchdowns from Christian Prudhomme, rolled past Watauga West (N.C.) for a 44-20 victory on Thursday night.
  The win lifted the Jr. Longhorns, who will host Unaka in the Little Watauga Conference championship next Thursday night, to 10-0.
  Johnson County scored its first two touchdowns on runs by Travis Grindstaff and Dakota Grindstaff, then Travis connected with Prudhomme on an 18-yard scoring pass.
  Jesse Poteet followed with a touchdown of his own for the Jr. 'Horns, catching a 39-yard pass from Austin Phipps. Prudhomme added a TD on an 80-yard kickoff return, and Nathan Leonard closed out the Johnson County scoring output on a 35-yard run.
