Buffs blank Spaulding

  LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Milligan College men's soccer team recorded its second consecutive shutout on the road Saturday, beating Spaulding University (Ky.) 4-0.
  Senior Steven Townley, who hails from Adelaide, Australia, led the charge with two goals, followed by one goal each from sophomore Caleb Bollman (Avon, IN) and freshman Sam Belmar (Katy, TX).
  Sophomores Joel Wanyoike (Nairobi, Kenya) and Jordan Fode (Surrey, British Columbia) shared goalkeeping responsibilities. Wanyoike had two saves on the afternoon.
  Sophomore David Lilly (Coatbridge, Scotland) had two assists, while senior Alex Kimani (Nairobi, Kenya), and sophomore Ryan Schweizer (Highland Hills, NY) each had one a piece.
  Milligan (6-5) outshot Spaulding 30-6.
  Next up for Milligan is Tennessee Wesleyan on Oct. 9 on the road at 4:30 p.m.
