Orlando golfer leads pack in Keller Williams

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Shawn Grimes of Orlando, Fla., posted an even-par 72 Saturday to grab the lead in the 2003 Tour Championship of the Keller Williams Amateur Golf Tour.
Grimes was steady all day, recording 16 pars, one birdie and one bogey. Grimes came into the event on a positive note, having won the final event on the Orlando tour schedule.
Neil Harrell of Charlotte and Robert Parmar of Orlando share second place in the championship flight at 73. Harrell was one under on the front nine, while Parmar was three under on the back.
In the A Flight, Charlotte's Jay Tuck made birdies on holes 11, 14 and 15 en route to a one-over round of 73. Greensboro's Roger Smith is second at 74, while Eifion Hughes of Johnson City is third at 75.
The B Flight lead is shared by Orlando's Pat Penton and Charlotte's Mike Jacobus at 76, while the C Flight leader is Tyler West of Charlotte at 83.
Sunday's final round begins at 9 a.m. on all four courses at Wild Wing Plantation.
