Buffs upend Cumberland

The Milligan men's soccer took measure of the Cumberland College Patriots on Monday, scoring a 3-1 victory.
The first goal came 15 minutes into the match. Cumberland scored off a cross that was put away by Russell Hogon and assisted by Gerard Brennan.
Milligan (9-6-1) answered back three minutes later with a goal from Ali Mohamed that was sent into the box from Steven Townley. Townley hooked up Alex Kimani, who connected on goal for the Buffaloes' second score of the night with 11 minutes remaining in the first half.
Mohamed put the game out of reach halfway through the second half with a penalty kick placed in the lower right corner.
In all, the Buffaloes attempted nine shots on goal during the match compared to Cumberland's four.
Jordan Fode had another great night for Milligan, saving five shots on goal. Steven Da George for Cumberland recorded six on goal saves for the night.
