NASCAR Cafe, Sterling Marlin teaming up for blood drive

from staff reports

JOHNSON CITY -- Sterling Marlin will be at the NASCAR Cafe to sign autographs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
This is all part of an American Red Cross blood drive. Free American Red Cross T-shirts will be provided to all donors, and NASCAR Cafe will be giving away discount cards for food and merchandise.
"We knew we wanted to do something to support our community," commented Lance Ritchie, American Red Cross assistant general manager. "There is no better way than to support an American Red Cross blood drive and to be a blood donor at time when the need increases due to the holidays."
Blood donors must be 17 years or older, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. The entire collection process takes about an hour. A blood donation can be made every 56 days.
