VI runs by Milligan, 4-1

   Virginia Intermont scored two goals early and two goals very late to defeat Milligan 4-1 in men's soccer action Wednesday night.
   Junior Robert Johnson scored in the 25th to open the scoring for the Cobras. Nine minutes later, Milligan was called for a questionable foul in its box, giving a VI penalty kick. Robert Ssejjemba took the kick and scored the second goal.
   VI led at halftime 2-0.
   Milligan got in some hot water early in the second half, losing both Brian Okumu and Cory Hynek to red cards. Milligan played most of the second half down two goals and two men.
   Ali Mohamed scored the only goal for Milligan in the 87th minute to pull the game to 3-1.
   Kpadeh Muingbeh scored the final two goals for the Cobras.
   Daniel Pavlin stopped 10 shots in the goal for the Buffaloes.
   Both team had eight shots. There was 13 cards handed out, nine on Milligan's players.
   Milligan falls to 7-6-1 and 3-3 in the conference while VI improves to 11-4 and 6-1.
   Milligan will host Covenant College on Saturday at 4:30. Covenant is undefeated and ranked fifth in the nation.
