Special teams lead Robinson over TAD
from staff reports
Special teams put a crimp in the T.A. Dugger Junior Cyclones on Tuesday, as Ross Robinson scored produced three touchdowns from those units to register a 25-0 conference victory.
A strong defense gave the Orange and Black a fighting chance early on, but the TAD offense never found its niche.
A blocked punt resulted in the first touchdown for Ross Robinson, which made a return of 10 yards for the score.
The Redskins returned a punt for a TD prior to halftime, then returned the second-half kickoff all the way for an 18-0 lead.
Ross Robinson added a final touchdown with about a minute left to play.
The Junior Cyclones return to action this Thursday at Happy Valley. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
