Jr. Bulldogs seize 42-16 win

Dustin Jaynes accounted for two touchdowns, with
one coming on a kickoff return, as Hampton rolled to a 42-16
victory over Boones Creek in a middle school football contest
at J.C. Campbell Stadium Tuesday night.
Adam Townsend, Jarred Oliver, D.J. Oliver and
Josh Taylor added a touchdown apiece to catapult the Junior
Bulldogs (3-2) over the .500 mark.
Defensively, D.J. Oliver and James Hall were
standout performers for Hampton.
"We came out ready to play for the first time
all year," said Junior 'Dogs head coach Kelly Oliver. "We're
starting to get more confidence in ourselves, so we're really
excited about that.
"We've got a big game at Johnson County Thursday
night. We still feel we're in the thick of it, and hopefully
we'll come ready to play."
Hampton and Johnson County kick things off at
6 at Paul H. McEwen Stadium.
