Lady Buffs blank Cavs

   BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. -- Milligan's women soccer team has played three games this season and has three shutouts. With the 2-0 win over Montreat Wednesday, Milligan has outscored their opponents 13-0 on the young season.
   Senior Abby Armstrong continues her hot play in goal, picking up her third shutout of the year. She stopped all three shots attempted by the Lady Cavs.
   Sophomore Kim Morris, who was the conference and regional player of the year last season, put Milligan on the board in the 30th minute for the only goal scored by a Milligan player.
   Milligan's second goal was a gift for Montreat. A Montreat player accidentally knocked the ball in her own goal in the 56th minute.
   Milligan improves to 3-0 and 2-0 in the AAC Conference. The Lady Buffs will take advantage of a couple of days to rest before traveling to Bethel College on Saturday.
