TFHA to hold free seminar

  On Saturday, Aug. 14, the Tennessee Fur Harvestors Association (TFHA) will hold a Youth Trapping Seminar at the Newland Farm near Kingsport.
  The seminar will run from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and is planned for youth ages 18 and under. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  Instructions will be given in the basic fundamentals of trapping. Traps, tools, trap bedding, trap locations and trap line safety are some of the topics that will be covered during the seminar.
  There is no cost to attend this event. Drinks and snacks will be available on site. The Newland Farm is located in Sullivan County on the east side of Hwy. 11W, 9.5 miles north of I-26. Signs will be posted.
