Trophy gets past Orioles

from staff reports

It didn't come easily, but a 15-9 pee-wee tournament victory over the Orioles kept the David's Trophy Detroit Tigers on the undefeated path.
The Orioles had a great jump on the Tigers, pushing across three runs in the top of the first inning and prompting Tigers coach Jimmy Price called a quick huddle between the inning to fire the boys up.
Dylan Wiseman caught a high fly ball to get the Tiger team going, and David's Trophy got its bats to wake up in the third and pull out what was by far the most nail-biting game the Tigers have had.
David's Trophy play Tuesday night at 7 for the championship.
