Hyder lifts CCM to regular-season title

In a game that determined the regular-season championship in the Elizabethton National Little League, Cody "The Rock" Hyder pitched and powered Carter County Motors to a 3-0 decision over Greg's Pizza.
Hyder helped gain the win as a pitcher in the top of the fourth, when he belted a two-run shot over the center field fence.
Casey Sheffield and Jake Hodge also had hits for CCM, with Greg's held to only a single hit.

KFC 1
Chase Depew allowed only two hits while throwing 11 Ks in the win for CCB. Matthew Potter and Depew were each 2-for-3 in the CCB victory.
James Benge and Summer Garland had hits for KFC.

Trailing 1-0 in the top of the final inning, C.J. Bowling got on base on an error. Ethan Fleenor drove in the run for the tie. Cody Hill hit by a pitch and a single from Drew Clark put TCN ahead. The final RBI was courtesy of Zake Miller.
Seth Davis, Logan Loving and Jacob Howell had hits for Six Sigma.

Joe Guinn had a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts to lead Greg's Pizza to a shutout of Carter County Bank.
Luke Goulds, Bobby Campbell and Josh Peterson each had hits for Greg's.
Derek Mann had a good game in a losing effort.

Burgie Drug 6
TCN outhit Burgie 9-2 to take the victory. C.J. Bowling went 3-for-3 and Zach Miller went 2-for-4 in the win.
Ryan "The Rabbit" Thomas had an inside-the-park home run to highlight the Burgie efforts.
