UT-bound Wiseman earns Bayless scholarship award

  The very first Charlie and Jane Bayless scholarship award was presented to Phillip Edward "Eddie" Wiseman at Happy Valley's May 15 graduation ceremonies.
  Wiseman will be attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and will be working toward his civil engineering degree.
  The Charlie and Jane Bayless scholarship committee reports they are approaching approximately $45,000 in the first full year of fundraising.
   Donations have come from fundraisers, friends and primarily past students of Happy Valley High School. Work will continue until an original goal of $100,000 is met or exceeded. Scholarships are to be awarded every year to deserving students.
