from staff reports

Milligan head volleyball coach Kim Hyatt has announced that Jamie Sly, a standout setter from Page High School in Franklin, will play for the Lady Buffs this fall.
Sly, a member of state championship teams for the past four years, is a four time all-conference and all-region selection and a two-time all-state award recipient.
She boasts the MVP award for the Volleyball State Championship of Tennessee and was named to the TACA All-West Team and Impact Volleyball Club.
With four state championships under her belt, Sly is sure to have an immediate impact on Milligan's program.
"Jamie has a winning tradition she is bringing to Milligan to help lead the team," Hyatt said. "Her dedication to the sport of volleyball is endless. She will make a large impact on the court and her leadership will direct us upward. We feel very fortunate to sign a player of this magnitude."
The Lady Buffs open their season in Ausbury on Sept. 4.
