Ten-run second keys C-H victory

   Sending 15 runners to the plate in a 10-run second-inning explosion, Cline-Holder went on to defeat KFC 11-4 in a Carter County American Little League tournament game on Monday night at Jim Ensor Field.
   Cline-Holder drew a total of eight walks in its big inning, getting hits from Logan Andrews, Christian Grissom, Matthew Street and Zach Boles along the way.
   Kyle Wash paced the offense for the winning team, going 2-for-2 with a pair of runs, one walk and one RBI. Boles had a pair of RBIs and got the win on the mound, while Colton Haun contributed two runs.
   Starring in a losing role was Dan Campbell, who gave KFC a 1-0 lead with a second-inning home run, and finished 3-for-3 with two runs and a couple of stolen bases.
   Alec Whitehead delivered a 2-for-3 effort for KFC, which received hits from Jordan Adams, McKinley Berry, Nathan Presnell and Jake Range.
