Citizens Bank hands  Lawn Care first loss

   It took until the final week of the season for TNC Lawn Care to come up on the losing end of a baseball game.
   With Jordan Taylor going 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs, Citizens Bank upset undefeated TNC by an 8-4 score in Carter County American Little League action on Monday night.
   Tyler Ballard had a two-run triple in a five-run fifth for the Bankers, who got a two-run double from Justin Nave in a three-run first. Logan Carden, Dustin Vaughn and Derrick Wilson each banged out a hit for Citizens, which finished with a 12-6 record.
   Carden was the winning pitcher.
   Knox Eryasa enjoyed a standout showing for TNC, as he smashed a two-run homer and doubled.

   Summers-Taylor 0
   Jacob Taylor had to wait on some runs, but they finally came in the top of the fifth inning, making sure Taylor's no-hitter didn't go to waste.
   Scoring off of its runs in the same inning, Elizabethton Lumber was able to knock off Summers-Taylor.
   Taylor totaled nine strikeouts in the game, and he and Logan Guinn had hits in the five-run fifth.
   Jarred Whitehead had the only other hit for E-Lumber, which had its hands full with Tyler Olson (9 strikeouts).
