CCM knocks off two foes, KFC edges by Sigma

   Carter County Motors earned two victories in Elizabethton National Little League play Thursday night.
   In a make-up game from May 15th, C.C. Motors defeated Valley Forge Auction, 14-4.
   Pitcher Wes Montgomery pitched a no-hitter until the fourth inning, when he was relieved by Stacey Sheffield.
   Sheffield lead C.C. in hits, going three for three. Seth Fleenor hit an inside-the-park home run and was two for three, along with Casey Sheffield and Cody Anderson.
   For Valley Forge, Mike Austin went one for one and Willie Schneider went one for two.

   In the regularly scheduled game, C.C. Motors defeated Valley Forge Auction 15-4. The first 14 of those runs came in the first inning.
   Cody "Rock" Hyder went two for two, Nick Kyte went three for three and Jake Hodge went two for three.
   Fleenor had a no-hitter during the first three innings, but gave up three runs on walks. Kyte relieved him giving up one run, then Casey Sheffield struck out the final batter.

   Both teams would have a run each until the third, when K.F.C. took the lead with two runs.
   KFC's Sumner Garland had a triple and a single for two runs. Cody Vestal and James Benge went two for two. Caleb Durant went one for three.
   Six Sigma's Logan Loving led all hitters going three for three. Jacob Howell went one for three.
