Near no-hitter for Bishop, McNeal

   Travis Bishop and Nick McNeal combined on a one-hitter Saturday, leading the Expert Express Diamondbacks to a 13-0 shutout of the Citizens Bank Reds in Babe Ruth play.
   Bishop got the win, and McNeal led the team at the plate with a 3-for-3 performance that included a home run.
   Corey Nave pitched in with a 2-for-3 effort, while Josh Turner, Brandon Montgomery and Chris Triplett each batted 1-for-1.
   Daniel Guinn accounted for the lone Reds hit.

   Phillips Dev. Red Sox 1

   Nick McNeal's pitching and hitting spearheaded the D-Backs against the Red Sox.
   McNeal tossed a three-hitter, while going 2-for-3 with the bat.
   Brandon Medina topped Phillips Development with a 2-for-3 outing. Ryan Lawhern was 1-for-2.

   Jeff Peters pitched the win and went 3-for-3 in sparking the Twins past the Reds.
   Jordan Honeycutt provided solid relief on the mound, and Michael Price (2-for-2), Cory Pearson (2-for-3) and Brooks Price (1-for-1) contributed good offensive performances.
   Daniel Guinn, Brandon "Sticks" Jaynes and Jordy Johnson each batted 1-for-2 for Citizens Bank.

   Tetrick Yankees 0

   Winner Derek Nave and reliever Cody Mann teamed up to pitch a two-hitter for the Braves, who got a 2-for-2 effort from Ryan Kennedy and a 2-for-3 game out of Tyler Andes.
   Andrew Kennedy added a home run, with Josh Lewis and Cody Mann both chipping in at 1-for-1.

   Elks Cubs 5

   Jeff Peters went 3-for-3 and Cory Pearson 3-for-4 in spearheading an awesome offensive output by Moose.
   Jordan Honeycutt homered in a 2-for-3 showing, while Michael Price contributed at 1-for-2.
   Peters got the win on the mound, with Brooks and Michael Price providing relief.
   Hunter Taylor's 2-for-2 was tops for the Cubs. John Morrow followed with a 1-for-2 game.

   Cody Scalf was a winner on the hill and a 2-for-4 performer at the plate, helping to lift the Yankees over the Cubs.
   Justin Covington and J.D. Scalf added 1-for-2 and 1-for-3 efforts, respectively, for Tetrick.
   Hunter Taylor led Elks with a 1-for-1 output. Josh Sorah batted 1-for-3.

   Bo Hardin pitched his way to a win, and John Hardin closed out on the mound as the D-Backs put together a resourceful performance.
   Not many hits flew off the bats of Expert Express, but the team made the most of what it had. Kevin Jessee was 1-for-1 and Nick McNeal 2-for-4 in the victory.
   The Cubs' top hitters were Michael Carpenter (1-for-1), Tim Franklin 2-for-3, Andrew Church 2-for-4 and Hunter Taylor (1-for-2).
   PIC Braves 17
   Phillips Dev. Red Sox 3

   Robert Davenport was the big catalyst for PIC, banging out a 3-for-5 effort with six RBIs.
   Andrew Kennedy also went 3-for-5, Derek Nave and Josh Lewis added two hits apiece, and Tyler Andes went 1-for-2 for the Braves. Andes was the winning pitcher.
   Matthew Rasnick, going 2-for-4, showed the way for the Red Sox. Brandon Medina, Ryan Lawhern and Aaron Bradford followed at 1-for-3 apiece.
