Nave keys 9-2 win for EE D-Backs

   In a battle between the top two squads, the Expert Express Diamondbacks were just the better team Tuesday night in Elizabethton Babe Ruth play.
   In the Diamondbacks' battle against the PIC Braves, Corey Nave was right on the money with 10 strikeouts and a 2-for-3 performance, including a home run, as Expert Express captured a 9-2 win.
   Teammate Nick McNeal brought around two home runs and a double for the team, which came alive in the third and seventh innings.
   Andrew Kennedy and Blake Hopson went two of three for the Braves.
   Elks Cubs 12
   Phillips Development Red Sox 6
   In the later outing, the Elks Cubs used a big second inning, where they plated nine runs, to oust the Phillips Red Sox, 12-6.
   Andrew Church went 4-for-4, including a double with the bases loaded, to lead the Cubs. Teammate Brandon Grindstaff, who pitched in two hits.
   Matthew Rasnick, Brandon Medina and Cody Marley all went 2-for-4 for the Red Sox.
