Venom preps for last home game, vs. Atlanta Leopards

from staff reports

The Tennessee Venom play host to the Atlanta Leopards at Happy Valley High School Saturday night, marking the Venom's last home game of the season.
The Venom has had an injury-plagued year this year, having several of its key players injured and lost for the season.
"We hope that we play our last two games without injuries" states Susan Greenway, co-owner. "We have never experienced this many injuries, and it has really made us change our personnel and put people in positions they have never played before now."
"We have learned to overcome our adversity and are still working hard to win our last two games of the season."
The Venom will travel to Knoxville to play the Summit for their last-regular season game on Saturday, June 15.
"We really look forward to playing Atlanta," Greenway said. "They are going through growing pains as well as we are, so it should be a very good match up for us."
Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $8 for adults. Gates open at 6 p.m., and game time is 7:05p.m.
