Lopsided wins for TNC, KFC

   A couple of lopsided contests took place on Tuesday night at Jim Ensor Field, where TNC Lawncare beat Elizabethton Federal 11-1, and KFC blanked Summers-Taylor 10-0.
   In the first game, Josh Lipford did a fine job on the mound to collect the win, and Knox Eryasa enjoyed a good game behind the plate.
   Franky Covarrubias and Jonathan Chapman galvanized the TNC offense with 3-for-3 performances. Josh Peterson followed with a 2-for-4 effort, while Tyler Jaynes and Justin Pierce both batted 1-for-3.
   Travis Tolley, who went 1-for-2, was tops for Federal. Brett Price and Drew Shingleton followed at 1-for-3 apiece.
   KFC 10
   Summers-Taylor 0
   Alec Whitehead's combination of good pitching and strong hitting carried KFC to victory.
   Whitehead held his opponent to two hits while producing a 3-for-4 performance at the dish. Dan Campbell went a sparkling 3-for-3, with Bruce Crumley and Sam Adams each batting 1-for-2.
   Shane Wilkes led Summers-Taylor with a 1-for-2 showing. Daniel Murray accounted for the team's other hit, going 1-for-3.
