Cline-Holder, David's Auto nab victories

   Cline-Holder scored at least one run every inning it batted on Monday, rolling to an 11-2 win over Inland in a Carter County American Little League game.
   The biggest inning for Cline-Holder was the third, where the team scored four runs to build a 6-0 lead.
   Johnathon Nichols, going 2-for-2, showed the way for the winners, with Mike Bowers and Greg Sams adding 2-for-3 and 2-for-4 efforts, respectively.
   Jared Reece went 1-for-2 to pace Inland, which got 1-for-3 outings from Britt Yelton and Jeremy Arwood.
   Zach Boles did a good job on the mound for Cline-Holder, picking up the win.

   David's Auto rose from the ashes on Monday, scoring six runs in the top of the sixth inning to post a dramatic one-run win.
   Citizens Bank had been in control after plating four runs in the first, then adding a run in the second.
   Jake Hubbard emerged the winning pitcher, while Jordan Taylor led the Auto bats with a 1-for-2 performance.
   Logan Carden, Brandon Taylor and Dustin Vaughn added 1-for-3 efforts for David's.
   Adam Colbaugh batted 1-for-1 with a home run for the Bankers, who received a 2-for-3 performance from Marcus Hill. Franky Birchfield chipped in at 1-for-2.
