Dan Campbell might have earned himself a new nickname Friday night at Jim Ensor Field.
Dan "The Man" Campbell fanned 11 Elizabethton Federal hitters en route to a complete-game victory.
Kentucky Fried Chicken won the game by a 6-1 score.
In the opening frame Federal's Brett Price walked, then advanced to second on a wild pitch.
David McInturff followed with a single to left, plating Price and earning Federal's lone hit on the evening.
Dan "The Man" then settled in and the strikeout parade began.
KFC answered with two runs in its half of the first, giving Campbell all the support he would need.
Alec Whitehead led the offense for KFC with two hits. Bruce Crumley chipped in with one hit.
   TNC Lawn Care 15
   Summers Taylor 0
In the nightcap, TNC Lawn Care's offensive explosion was overshadowed only by the masterful mound performance of Justin Pierce.
Summers-Taylor's Dakota Waters reached on an error in the first, then advanced to second on a pass ball.
The threat was stopped when Waters was caught stealing third.
It was then at Pierce zeroed in and put an end to the Summers-Taylor offense.
TNC's defense waz never tested as Pierce K'd his way through the game. His 11-strikeout barrage was interrupted only by Daniel Murray's single in the last frame.
TNC erupted for 12 runs in a disastrous third for Summers-Taylor.
Pierce aided his own cause with two base knocks, as did Franky Covarrubias. Josh Peterson, Tyler Jaynes, Jonathan Chapman, Jacob Hitchcock and Kelly Raines added singles.
