BET, 6-Sigma, Twins end on positive note

   BET Welding ended the Elizabethton National Little League season on a positive note with a 18-9 win over Carter County Motors on Friday.
   Casey Crapps was the driving force behind BET's win taking the win on the mound and going 2-for-3 at the plate. Michael Hutchins was also spectacular for BET going 3-for-3 with two doubles.
   Carter County Motors responded with Cody Hyder going 2-for-4 and Chris Pierce and Nick Berkley each going 1-for-2.

   Wendall Loving's home run highlighted the 6-Sigma win, as he along with Logan Loving, William Wagner and Tori Mann each went 1-for-2 at the plate. Matt Cannon pitched a one-hitter for 6-Sigma.
   Drew Chambers had the only hit for Cash Express.
Twins 16
Grindstaff Motors 6

   Roy Edwards' three-for-four day at the plate paced the Twins to the win in Saturday's contest. Ben McKinney went 2-for-3 with a home run, while winning pitcher Zack Montgomery was also 2-for-3 at the plate. Dalton Luster was 1-for-2 for the Twins, who racked 13 hits total in the game.
   Brent Powell, Ethan Fleenor, Cody Mullins, Cory Blevins and C.J. Bowling each had hits for Grindstaff.
