CCB victory hands title to Valley Forge Auction

   Carter County Bank was on the money Thursday night in National Little League play.
   The Bankers pulled out a 6-1 victory over the Elizabethton Twins, and in the process allowed Valley Forge Auction to take the regular-season title.
   Carter County turned a close game into a blowout with a four-run fifth. The game was 6-0 at that point, and the bankers never looked back.
   Kenny Yarberry was unstoppable on the mound, as he gave up only three hits and struck out 14.
   Benjamin McKinney had a nice effort for the Twins, allowing just four hits on the evening.
   Tyler Blevins, Cain McWalters, Heath Honeycutt and Cody Buck had hits for Carter County Bank. Zak Montgomery, Roy Edwards and McKinney came up with hits for the Twins.

   Carter County Motors exploded for nine hits en route to an easy win.
   Cody Hyder went 3-for-4, and Stacey Sheffield went 3-for-3 to top Carter County Motors. Michael Guinn added to Carter County's cause with a 1-for-1 effort.
   Jordan Meredith had two hits to lead Burgie Drug. Zack Miller and Matt Febuary each had 1-for-2 efforts for Burgie.
