Pierce no-hits Summers-Taylor

   Justin Pierce tossed a no-hitter and Knox Eryasa was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate as T-n-C Lawn Care steamrolled to a 16-0 Carter County American Little League win over Summers-Taylor at Jim Ensor Field on Saturday.
   Franky Covarrubus and Kelly Rains each added two hits.
   After scoring three runs in the first innings, T-n-C ran away in the second, crossing the plate eight times.
   Pierce totaled eight strikeouts in the four-inning affair.

   Kyle Wash had two hits and scored two runs leading Cline-Holder over KFC. Logan Andrews also had two hits and Nick Jenkins had one in the electrifying victory.
   Early on, it looked like KFC might pull away as Dan Campbell belted a two-run homer that also scored Cody Vance.

   Elizabethton Federal exploded for 10 runs in the third inning, en route to the victory. Leadoff batter Brett Price led the way with three hits and three runs. Drew Shingleton picked up the win.
   Cody Guess and Anthony Cole each had two hits to lead Elizabethton Lumber's efforts.
