Cline-Holder, E-Fed vanquish opponents

Cline Holder raced past Summers Taylor 9-1 while
Elizabethton Federal handed KFC a 6-1 defeat in Carter County
American Little League action Monday night at Jim Ensor Field.
The electric men scored seven run in the first
two innings to earn a win over the road graters.
Zack Boles, Jordan Banner, Kyle Wash and Logan
Andrews had a good offensive showings for Cline Holder while
Baker scored the only run of the game for Summers Taylor.
J. Wilson had a double to help the cause.
The Feds of coach Herman Price earned a hard-fought
win over the fryers in a contest that wasn't decided until
Federal scored four runs in the fifth inning.
Brent Price had an outstanding game for Federal,
going 2-for-2, including a double and two runs scored. Micah
Cates scored the only run of the game for KFC while Jake Range,
Alec Whitehead, McKinley Berry added one hit each to the cause.
Billy Palmer earned the win while Dan Campbell
pitched well in defeat.
