Lawn Care routs Lumber

   The hits kept coming for T-n-C Lawn Care, which made its presence felt for a 17-2 victory over Elizabethton Lumber in a Carter County American Little League baseball game on Tuesday night.
   Lawn Care banged out 14 hits, including seven in a 10-run fourth inning that completely put the game away.
   Justin Pierce had three hits -- one being a double -- two runs and two RBIs for the winners, who got two hits apiece from Franky Covarrubias, Austin Nanney, Jacob Hitchcock and Michael Starnes.
   Covarrubias added three runs and three RBIs while Nanney collected drove in three runs and scored twice. Hitchcock collected three runs and a pair of RBIs.
   Tyler Jaynes, Knox Eryasa and Joseph Wilson chipped in one hit apiece, and Wilson picked up the win from the mound.
   Elizabethton Lumber was held to three hits, with Jacob Taylor denting a double and a single. Chris Morton had the other hit.
