Greg's, Burgie register wins

   Greg's Pizza remained in first place with a 17-0 win over Valley Forge Auction Monday night in the first game at T.J. Burleson Field.
   Greg's poured on some extra toppings in the first two innnings scoring 13 in two at bats.
   Corey Beam got the win while Daniel Roberts gave a good effort in defeat. Jacob Davis swung a mean stick by going 3-for-3 with a homer, triple and double. Michael Hutchins and Bobby Campbell each went 2 for 2. Beam and Jacob McCrackin added 1-for-2 performances.
   Willie Schmeider had the only hit for Auction. Beam struck out 10 while walking only one batter.
   Burgie Drug 7
   KFC 2
   Burgie broke open a tie game with five runs in the top of the sixth inning to knock off the drumsticks 7-2. Sean Bentley got the win with a nifty two-hitter and was aided by some fine Burgie defense.
   Zack Treadway pitched a marvelous game for KFC. The 9-year-old gave up only three runs and appears to be have a good future ahead of him as a pitcher.
   Drew "Heavy D" Chambers and Matt Febuary led Burgie, each going 2-for-3, while Justin Bailey, Aaron Vaughn, Jordan Vanhoy, Ryan Thomas and Ryan Pinkerman had one hit each for Burgie.
   Caleb Durant and Clayton Ray had the only hits for KFC.
