T-N-C garners shutout

from staff reports

T-N-C Lawn Care poured on the offense in a Carter County American Little League game from Friday night. That, combined with a four-inning no-hitter from Tyler Jaynes, resulted in an 18-0 victory over Summers-Taylor at Jim Ensor Field.
Lawn Care put together a 10-hit attack led by Franky Covarrubias, who went 3-for-4, and Jonathan Chapman, who batted 2-for-3 while belting a home run.
Justin Pierce and Knox Eryasa added 2-for-3 efforts for T-N-C.
A very young team, Summers-Taylor played with a lot of heart and never gave, coping with two injuries early in the game.
