CCM, KFC win in NLL play

   Jake Hodge tossed a one-hitter to lead Carter County Motors past Burgie Drugs 2-0 in Elizabethton National Little League activity Tuesday night.
   Justin Bailey gave up only four hits in the loss.
   Stacey Sheffield, Cody "The Rock" Hyder, Casey Sheffield and Seth Fleenor had hits for the Motors while Matt Febuary had the only hit for Burgie.
   Motors was clicking on all cylinders, much like the "goat wagon" coach Richard Sheffield has driven for the past several years.

   In a game shortened by the four inning rule KFC edge the Valley Forge behind the pitching efforts of Zack Treadway. Daniel Roberts pitched well for Auction.
   Sumner Garland banged out two hits to lead the chicken hawks while James Bengi added a 1-for-2 performance.
   Aaron Bose, Cody Jenkins and Wilie Schmeider had the only hits for Auction.
   Note: Derek Mann was the winning pitcher in Monday nights game verses the Six Sigma. Mann tossed 11 strikeouts on the night for Carter County Bank.
