Nissan ends futility

Tri-Cities Nissan found plenty of reason to smile
on Tuesday night, gaining its first win of the season with
a 5-3 decision over Six-Sigma.
Ethan Fleenor got the win on the mound as Sigma
failed to score after the first inning.
Dylan Carr went 2-for-2 with a pair of RBIs to
top Nissan at the plate. Tyler Whitlock, Fleenor and Taylor
Gouge added 1-for-2 showings.
Sigma received one hit apiece from Matt Plaas,
Eric Norman and Chris Richardson.

Ben McKinney was in control for the Twins, striking
out 14 batters en route to pitching six scoreless innings.
McKinney, Sumner Garland and Lance Reed each
had a hit for the Twins, while Isaiah Osborne turned in a
good game for the Bankers, going 2-for-2.
