Twins top Six Sigma

   Lance Reed struck out 11 in five innings and Zack Montgomery came in and struck out the side to end the game, which resulted in a 10-1 Twins win over Six Sigma on Saturday at T.J. Burleson Field.
   Both boys went 1-for-1, while Craig Sheets and Caleb Durant were 1-for-2 in leading the Twins to victory.
   D.J. Reece and Logan Loving were both 1-for-2 in the Sigma loss.

   Zack Miller had 12 Ks in the Burgie win.
   The team scored five runs in a decisive bottom of the fifth.
   Drew Chambers' 2-for-3 day led the Burgie attack, while Casey Crapps, Miller and Matt February all had one hit apiece.
   Jake Howell stood atop the mound, while D.J. Reese, Cody Tolley and Matt Plaas were each 1-for-2 in a losing cause for Sigma.

   Big Ben McKinney struck out 14, allowing only one hit in a dominate pitching performance for the Twins.
   Zack Montgomery, with a 3-for-3 effort, led the bats, with McKinney going 2-for-3.
   Craig Sheets, Lance Reed and Phillip White all delivered hits for the Twins. Brandon Burchfield suffered the defeat, with Chris Pierce providing the only base hit for CCM.
