Cline-Holder, Citizens Bank prove victorious

   The Cline-Holder bats started off in lukewarm fashion, but turned up the heat in the third inning and pounded their way to a 14-6 victory over Summers-Taylor at Jim Ensor Field on Tuesday night.
   Cline-Holder broke a 1-1 tie with six runs in the third. Summers-Taylor retaliated with five in the top of the fourth, but C-H would go on to unload seven more runs.
   Kyle Wash, at 2-for-2, led the way for the winners. Kendall Wash, 2-for-3; Greg Sams, 2-for-3; and Logan Andrews, 2-for-4; provided solid offensive contributions, while Zack Boles pitched his way to a win.
   Billy Palmer and Crystal Covington went 2-for-2 to pace Summers-Taylor, which got a 2-for-4 clip from Dakota Waters. Chase Hale and D.J. Puckett batted 1-for-2.

   Citizens Bank used a five-run third inning and a nice balance of good pitching and hitting to get the job done.
   Jacob Taylor, who earned the win, and Franky Birchfield handled the pitching chores for Citizens, and Adam Colbaugh (2-for-3) and Logan Guinn (1-for-1) sparked the Banker bats.
   Citizens received a 1-for-2 game from Hunter Peters. Birchfield and Jacob Taylor added a hit apiece.
   Beth Fair was tops for Federal with a 1-for-1 showing. Nathan Shoun went 1-for-2, with Travis Tolley and Brett Price both collecting a hit.
