Long, Crabtree lead Peebles past Sigma

   Kelly Long and Brittney Crabtree batted 3-for-3 for Peebles, which plated nine fourth-inning runs en route to a 14-12 win over 6 Sigma in Little League softball action at the National League park.
   Both Long and Crabtree doubled, while Rikki Pritchard doubled in one at-bat and picked up the win on the mound.
   Brannon Rogers added a pair of hits in three at-bats for the winners, with Chelsea Bowling going 1-for-2.
   Heather Hughes, Jessica Carlyle and Rachel Reynolds went 2-for-2 to pace 6-Sigma, which got 2-for-3 efforts from Courtney Byers and Brittney Stines.
   Whitney Murray chipped in at 1-for-1.
   Blossman Gas 15

   Scoring a trio of runs to go with a 2-for-2 day at the dish, Cora Bowling propelled Blossman to a solid victory over EPD.
   Going 1-for-2 for Blossman were Laura Moore, Amanda Schutte and Jessie Rice. Danielle Matherly added a 1-for-3 showing.
   Cassie banged out two hits for EPD, with Jessi batting 1-for-1.

   A bona fide runfest resulted in a narrow victory for Peebles, which got 2-for-2 hitting from Brittney Crabtree and Brittney Eggers.
   McKenzie Eggers added four runs, a triple and a pair of walks for Peebles. Brannon Rogers contributed a base hit, and she, Chelsie Bowling and Kayla Whaley registered three runs apiece.
   Bowling pitched for the win.
   Tops for Blossman Gas were Cara Bowling and Laura Moore. Both players went 2-for-2 and scored three times.
   Amanda Schultz followed at 1-for-1 with two runs and a pair of walks. Britney McNeil and Jerissa Rice batted 1-for-2.
   Big John's 14
   EPD 3
   Brittany Jenkins ripped a pair of doubles in three at-bats as Big John's knocked off EPD.
   Kendra Good and Megan Carty gave 1-for-1 efforts to the winning cause, with Tara Kauffeld, Ashlie Wagner and Madison McKinney chipping in at 1-for-2.
   EPD managed just one hit, with Brittany Sorrells doing the honors. Keehsa Price accounted for two runs, two walks and four stolen bases.
