Citizens Bank, Cline-Holder prove victorious in AL play

   Adam Colbaugh smashed a two-run homer and tossed a one-hitter on Tuesday night, leading Citizens Bank to an 11-0 shutout over Kentucky Fried Chicken at Jim Ensor Field.
   This was a close game until Citizens tallied three runs in the fifth, then five more in the sixth.
   Hunter Peters, 3-for-3; Adam Colbaugh, 2-for-2; and Marcus Hill, 2-for-3, showed the way for the Bankers.
   Sam Adams went 1-for-1 to lead KFC.

   A good pitching effort by Kendall Wash and an error-filled game by T-N-C enabled Cline-Holder to come out on top in a hard-fought contest.
   Besides pitching his way to victory, Wash led his team at the plate with a 2-for-3 effort. Greg Sams and Zack Boles both added a base hit.
   Justin Pierce topped Lawn Care by going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs. Knox Eryasa was close behind at 2-for-4, and Franky Covarrubias dented a base hit.
   Cline-Holder broke a 4-4 tie with two runs in the top of the fifth.
