Trio of homers sends Express past Citizen's

   Aaron Bradford, Hunter Taylor and Dustin Carden all homered on Saturday to lift Expert Express over Citizen's Bank, 12-7, in American Little League action on Saturday afternoon.
   Bradford went 3-for-3 with three runs while Taylor, who pitched the win, batted 2-for-3. Blake Russell was also 2-for-3 for the Express, which tallied six runs in the third inning.
   The Bankers were led by Adam Colbaugh, who went 1-for-1 with a pair of runs.
   T-N-C Lawn Care 16
   Elizabethton Federal 1
   Justin Pierce went 2-for-3 and scored two runs to propel T-N-C, which batted around during a nine-run second, to an easy win.
   Jarred Irick crossed the plate three times for Lawn Care, and Bryant Collins won a no-hitter.
   Bethany Fair scored the lone run for Elizabethton Federal.
   KFC 7
   Summers-Taylor 6
   KFC cut loose for six runs in the second inning, then held off Summers-Taylor in the best game of the day.
   KFC had no hits, but took advantage of 10 walks. Jacques Romain notched the victory on the hill, Sam Adams earned a save and Micah Cates scored two runs.
   Lucas Teague accounted for two Summers-Taylor runs.
   Friday's Games
   Expert Express 12
   Citizen's Bank 7
   Expert Express didn't need any hits to beat Citizen's Bank. Just a lot of walks and some good base running.
   Shane Heaton, Nick Papantoniou and Jake Oliver plated two runs apiece for Expert, with Papantoniou collecting the win on the hill.
   J.D. Scalf ripped a double for Citizen's.

   Cash Express 3
   Before he reached his maximum number of innings for the week, Daniel Simerly surrendered no hits and struck out 11 batters as 6-Sigma defeated Cash Express.
   Simerly worked four innings.
   D.J. Reece, William Wagner and Eric Norman each batted 1-for-2 to lead Sigma's bats.
   Tops for Cash Express were Mathew Plaas, Logan Shultz and Jared Cline at 1-for-2 apiece.
   C.C. Motors 12
   Grindstaff Motors 11
   Grindstaff stormed to an 8-0 first-inning lead, but couldn't hold the fort as Carter County Motors tallied two runs in the top of the sixth to complete its comeback.
   CCM's Nolan Childers sent one up the middle and to the fence to drive in the tying and go-ahead runs in the sixth.
   Casey Sheffield 2-for-2 showing at the plate backed up a winning effort on the mound from Stacey Sheffield. Chris Pierce added a 2-for-3 showing.
   Jerry Berkley, 2-for-2, and Ethan Fleenor, 2-for-3, topped Grindstaff, whose base running was not up to par in the second and third frames.
