fall short at Tennessee Wesleyan

ATHENS -- The Milligan College baseball team lost
the third game of its series against Tennessee Wesleyan, falling
by the score of 11-8 Sunday afternoon.
With the loss, Milligan falls to 32-19 overall
and 18-7 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
Leading the way for the Buffaloes at the plate
was David Rusaw, Dustin Price and Brian Miller, who each had
two hits and a home run. Nathan Chandler added a solo home run
in the fourth inning.
Picking up the loss for Milligan was Chris Shockley
as he went five innings, allowing five runs on nine hits in
his outing.
Next for the Buffs will be the last conference
weekend of the season as they host Union (Ky.) College Saturday
and Sunday. Saturday's doubleheader starts at 1 p.m. and Sunday's
single game starts at 2 p.m.
