Lady Buffs sign recruit from Kentucky

Ashley Stidham, from Whitesburg High School in
Whiteburg, Ky., has signed a letter-of-intent to enroll and
play basketball for the Milligan College Lady Buffs this fall.
Stidham, a 6-foot center/forward, has played
varsity basketball for Whitesburg High School since her seventh-grade
year and has been a starter for five of those years.
Stidham has been an All-53rd District player
for three years and an All-Region performer this past season
as well as garnering All-State honorable mention after averaging
eight points, seven rebounds and 5.2 blocks per game this
past season for the Lady Jackets.
"Ashley is an exceptional player and a fine person,"
said Milligan Lady Buffs head coach Rich Aubrey. "We look
for her to make an immediate impact in the post position."
Stidhman scored over 1,000 points in her high
school career, pulled down more than 800 rebounds and blocked
over 400 shots.
