Peebles' Guinn hurls no-hitter on first day

   Opening day for the Elizabethton National Little League softball season saw Megan Guinn seize control.
   Guinn not only pitched a no-hitter in Peebles' 14-0 win over Big John's Closeouts, but she also struck out 12 batters while walking only two.
   Aiding her own cause, Guinn scored multiple runs for Peebles, as did teammates Abbie Fleenor, Lydia Carr, Brittney Sorrell, Brittney Thomas and Brannon Rogers.
   Guinn, Carr, Sorrell and Rogers had one hit apiece, and Dawn Miller and Katie Elsey each chipped in one run.
   Peebles also recorded an 11-4 victory over Blossman, with Guinn also picking up the pitching win in the game.
   EPD recorded a 16-2 win over Big John's, and Blossman upended EPD 12-1.
