CCM, Nissan post National League wins

from staff reports

Casey Sheffield knows how to make a good first impression.
Pitching his first game, the young Sheffield did an outstanding job on Thursday night at T.J. Burleson Field, sending Carter County Motors to a 13-1 National Little League win over Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Sheffield hurled a two-hitter, walked just one and racked up an impressive 11 strikeouts.
The first three batters scored in the first and third innings for CCM, which bolted to an 8-0 lead.
Cody "The Rock" Hyder showed the way at the plate for Motors, going 3-for-3, and Stacey Sheffield and Bryan Mullins both went 1-for-1.
For KFC, Caleb Durant and Sumner Garland both batted 1-for-2.
